Why I wrote this book!
After living a drug and alcohol-infested life filled with hopelessness, anger, and despair for sixteen years, I found myself in a place where I wanted to go to sleep and never wake up.
I never imagined myself in a place where I would have the chance to tell people about my life. I had no desire to live because the world around me was crumbling in, and the walls around me were closing in to reveal the truth about who I was. That act of emotion led me to a hospital where I was introduced to a recovery program and eventually to reading the Bible. Within those covers, I found peace, hope, joy, and freedom, along with many other emotions I thought I would never feel again.
Then, one day I felt God tell me to write my story so I could help others receive what I found. That is how An Injection of Faith: One Addict's Journey to Deliverance came about. It is a short story about my life as a kid, what led me to the destructive lifestyle I once lived, and the journey I took to get where I am today.
